Ring stewards are the unsung heroes of the dog show. Their job is to maintain the flow of dogs in and out of the ring allowing the judge enough time to examine each animal and exhibitors to present their dogs to the best of their ability. Stewards assist the judge by keeping the ring organized. A good steward makes the job of judging and showing easier, as well as being an ambassador to the dog show world.
For new exhibitors, the ring steward may be their first contact and that experience can affect their continued participation in the sport. Stewarding can be an enjoyable as well as valuable experience. It is an excellent way to learn about different breeds, meet new people with similar interests, and contribute to the sport.
Participation is limited to 30 registrants each time slot
